Grace Hill's sales were on the uptick, an amazing fact to behold if you had seen their sales collateral. They asked me to update their course list, which had been needing a facelift, for at least a decade. They gave me a spreadsheet and told me to run with it. Before even touching the Adobe Suite, I like to talk with people. To gain a better understanding of the use cases for the project I was creating, I talked with clients, sales managers, and marketing directors. My time couldn’t have been better spent.
The work I did to understand the users first and how the piece would be used internally and externally by users, influenced the approach of the sales team and ultimately changed the brand identity direction of the company.
